Oak Run
Farm was established in 1988 in Raleigh, North Carolina on
acreage that is also the site of a farmhouse built in 1850.
At one time, the farm bordered a rail line, and both old
iron horse and mule shoes, and old railroad spikes are still
found on the property occasionally.
The owners, Michael and Nancy Hannah, have been showing
horses at the breed level since 1991, and have bred, trained
and shown multiple halter and performance champions with
which we have earned more than 300 AQHA points.
Too little space and too little time dictate that only a
small number of horses are kept at the farm, and that is
also why show quality horses become available for purchase
from time to time. Please check our website for what we currently
have for sale.
Our goal is to breed, train, fit and show national level
halter and performance horses with dispositions and abilities
which will allow any exhibitor - regardless of skill level
- to compete with confidence.
Whether you choose to show at small local events or to haul
for Congress or World titles, Oak Run Farm has your next
winner in our barn.

Note: People have asked us over the years why we have not
shown our horses at the Congress or the World Show despite
qualifying multiple times.
We are
also avid SCUBA divers, and go on a dive vacation to the
Caribbean in October/November
every year. We love our horses, and we give them at least
three months off from training programs in the fall/winter
while we travel so EVERYONE is ready for show season in
the Spring.
